Community Development Plan

Project Overview

The Shire of Dandaragan is reviewing its community development plans, setting the course for the next five years.

Plans under review

  • Age-Friendly Plan
  • Youth Plan
  • Disability Access and Inclusion Plan
  • Club Development Plan

These plans will be integrated into a single community development plan, streamlining implementation and ensuring a clear framework for updates for reviews, making it easier to track progress. The Shire’s new Community Development Plan will identify the Community’s priorities for the next 5 years and outline how the Shire will work with the community to achieve these.

How you can get involved

Your feedback is essential in shaping this plan to reflect the diverse needs and aspirations of our residents. Over the coming weeks, the Shire will engage with external stakeholders, including community members, groups, schools, and relevant services, to gather valuable input for the Community Development Plan. We want to ensure all voices are heard and that the plan truly represents our community. If you believe a particular group should be included in this process, please contact us to share your suggestion.

You can participate by attending one of our community workshops, completing the online survey, or both. The online survey takes approximately 12 minutes to complete and includes four questions across five key topics, giving you the opportunity to share your input.

If you join in one of our community workshops or complete the online survey you can enter the draw for a chance to win one of four $100 vouchers*
